General information

This is a legal agreement between you and Lucasfilm Ltd. ("LFL", "We", "Us" or "Our") governing the use of the services provided by LFL that are located on third party social networks such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter or other services that link to these Terms (as defined below) (the "LFL Social Portals"). The LFL Social Portals do not include services provided by LFL through www.lucasfilm.com, www.starwars.com or any other services other than those that link to these Terms.

By accessing or using the LFL Social Portals, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, including any additional Guidelines (as defined below), and any future modifications (together, referred to as the "Terms"). If at any time you don't agree to these Terms, please immediately discontinue your use of the LFL Social Portals.

NOTE TO USERS UNDER 13: The LFL Social Portals are not for persons under the age of 13. If you are under 13 years old, then please do not use the LFL Social Portals. If you are over 13, but under the age of consent where you live, then you must get the consent of your parents prior to using the LFL Social Portals and, if you do use the LFL Social Portals, you represent to Us that you have done so.

1. Submissions. LFL's company policy does not allow LFL to accept or consider creative ideas, suggestions, or materials other than those it has specifically requested. Accordingly, We must request that no visitors to the LFL Social Portals submit or send any original creative materials, including but not limited to, submissions of scripts, story lines, fan fiction, characters, drawings, information, suggestions, ideas or concepts. If at Our request you send certain specific submissions (e.g., postings to chats, discussions, forums, wall postings, surveys, message boards, contests, or similar items) or, despite Our request that you not send Us any other creative materials, you send Us creative suggestions, ideas, notes, drawings, concepts, or other information (collectively, the "Submissions") such Submissions shall be deemed and shall remain the property of LFL in perpetuity. By making any Submissions, the sender automatically grants, or warrants that the owner of such material hereby expressly grants LFL the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such material (in whole or in part) throughout the universe and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed, for the full term of any copyright, trademark or patent that may exist in such material for any purpose that LFL chooses, whether internal, public, commercial, or otherwise, without any compensation, credit or notice to the sender whatsoever. The sender waives all so-called "moral rights" in all Submissions. The sender further waives the right to make any claims against LFL relating to unsolicited Submissions, including, but not limited to, unfair competition, breach of implied contract and/or breach of confidentiality.

2. Individual Features and LFL Social Portals. When using the LFL Social Portals, you may be subject to any additional posted guidelines or rules applicable to specific services, and features which may be posted from time to time (the "Guidelines"). All such Guidelines are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms. To the extent that any terms of these Terms conflict with any Guidelines, these Terms shall control.

3. Modification of the Terms. Because the LFL Social Portals change from time to time, LFL reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms at any time without notice. Please check these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the LFL Social Portals after the posting of changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes. While non-material changes to these Terms are effective immediately, any material changes to these Terms will automatically be effective thirty (30) days after they are initially posted on the LFL Social Portals.

4. Rules of Conduct. To help Us maintain meaningful and constructive discussions on the LFL Social Portals, We ask that you stay polite and always show respect if you disagree with someone's point of view. We must reserve the right to remove any posting or other material that We find off-topic, inappropriate or objectionable or that violates the Community Guidelines described in Section 12.

5. LFL Downloads. If LFL provides software, pictures, content or other downloadable items (collectively, the "LFL Downloads") available through the LFL Social Portals, then such LFL Downloads are licensed to you by Us or Our third-party licensors for your personal, noncommercial home use only. We do not transfer title to the LFL Downloads to you. You may not distribute or otherwise exploit the LFL Downloads or, in the case of software, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise reduce the LFL Downloads to a human-readable form.

6. Ownership. The LFL Social Portals are provided by LFL through third party sites. The LFL Downloads, content, visual interfaces, interactive features, information, graphics, design, compilation, computer code, products, software, services, and all other elements of the LFL Social Portals that are provided by Us (collectively, the "LFL Materials") are protected by copyright, trade dress, patent, and trademark laws, international conventions, and all other relevant intellectual property and proprietary rights, and applicable laws. The LFL Materials do not include any content owned and submitted by you (including your User Content, as such term is defined below) or any content owned by third party licensors or site operators (such as Facebook, YouTube or Twitter). Except as expressly authorized by Us, you agree not to sell, license, distribute, copy, modify, publicly perform or display, transmit, publish, edit, adapt, create derivative works from, or otherwise make unauthorized use of the LFL Social Portals or LFL Materials. You shall not acquire any right, title or interest to the LFL Social Portals or LFL Materials, except for the limited rights set forth in these Terms or any express license from Us or Our licensors. LFL trademarks, logos, images, service marks, trade names and other distinctive branding features of LFL (collectively, the "LFL Marks") are the trademarks of LFL and may not be used without permission. LFL is not granting you a license under any intellectual property right to the LFL Marks. Other trademarks, logos, and trade names are the property of their respective owners
