General information

I view a massage as an interactional conversation (communication)
with the body. 'One Size' does not necessarily fit all. Although the
framework of each massage is similar they vary depending on what the
body will need or what sort of physical distress it has gone
through. Massage came help with all sorts of ailments and should be an adjunct to any active or healthy lifestyle maintenance program.

I also provide Contemporary Medical Acupuncture which I studied at McMaster University. It’s a Western approach that deals specifically with the musculoskeletal and neurophysiology of the body to target joints, ligaments, muscles, bone and nerves. It is also beneficial in regulating hormones and easing the mind/body. This method of acupuncture is commonly used amongst chiropractors and physiotherapist and compliments any massage therapy treatment.

I am currently studying at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Osteopathy is a natural medicine and science with precise hands on techniques. The objective is to restore function and movement where there is dysfunction and restriction. This allows for an inter relationship to occur between all systems in the body; and from that place healing can occur naturally. Osteopathy comes from the word “osteome”, which means structure of all living matter.
