The Forge Company Information
General information
The Forge is a collaborative workspace shared by youth entrepreneurs representing various industries including digital media, health sciences, social innovation and advanced manufacturing. The Forge also provides startups with training, mentorship and access to a great network.
The Forge@Mac is McMaster University's on-campus wing, supporting entrepreneurial-minded student on-campus via social events, workshops and a yearly $100,000 pitch competition.
The Forge is funded by the Government of Ontario through the Campus-Linked Accelerator (CLA) program and by McMaster University, managed by Ontario Centres of Excellence. It is a partnership between McMaster University, Innovation Factory and Mohawk College and is a member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs.
