General information

We accept children ages 18 months - 11 years old. Children are split into three rooms:

1. Lady Bug (Toddler; 18 months - 2 1/2 years)

Our lady bug room has an extensive loft area offering a different height and perspective for play and learning. They have a pet Bunny, Bella, whom spends most of her day snuggling with the children, begging for spinach scraps at snack and chewing on soles of shoes. The toddlers love to explore with sensory and music.

2. Bumble Bee (Preschool; 2 1/2 years – 4 1/2 years)

Bumble Bees have a large room with many focal points of learning space. These dedicated areas help to foster growth and development, whether it be in the dramatic play area where a group of preschoolers are preparing lunch, or building a tower out of blocks to see if it will reach the window…all play is valued and honoured. There is also a loft space including a crawl space for the children to have a quiet and relaxing moment.

3. Dragon Fly (School Age; 4 1/2 years – 11 years)

Dragon flies take part in many experiments and spend much of their day asking questions. As the eldest children they also offer assistance to other rooms with help delivering snack, holding hands of younger ones or helping out when it is time to put hats on. We provide environments in which the children learn to be independent but how to also rely properly on each other for support and compassion. This room spends many days outside and away from the centre, exploring! The dragonflies invite community members in to their room for discussion including but not limited to police officers and Master composters!
