Farm One Forty

General information

My husband and I both grew up on farms and we have always loved the lifestyle. When we moved out to a farm of our own we dabbled a bit in growing enough food to sustain ourselves and that was so much fun we decided to grow for a few friends and family members and that was so much fun, well you get the picture!
Our main goals are animal health and happiness, restoring and healing the land through holistic farming practices and providing wholesome and nutritious food that we feel good putting into our bodies and our children's bodies.
We aim to restore peoples connection with food and visitors are always welcome! A lot of the factory farms today put a cute little picture of a hen pecking the ground or a cow grazing in a picturesque setting on their product which tells me that consumers still value that. At our farm the hens really do peck the ground, the cows and sheep really do graze grass and don't eat grain and the pigs really do root around and roll in the mud!
Although our farm has grown since those first few orphan calves and weanlings we started out with and it is a challenge to keep up with the massive demand for local, high quality meats, our core values have not and will not change.
