General information
Never say never. I always said that I would never be a piano teacher when I was growing up, I had my reasons. I did know that I wanted to be a teacher, but of a classroom. That all changed in 2012 when I had the opportunity to help a rural school start a music and arts program in India. It was there that I discovered my love of teaching piano. When I was finished overseas, I settled back in Regina and start building my studio. I went from 3 students the first year to 28 the second, and 48 the third year! The 2016-17 school year was also the first time I took my studio from being a part time thing that I did to a full time studio! It was a daunting task, but so worth it in the end and I loved every minute of it. I am now getting ready for my fourth year of teaching in Regina and enjoying every minute of prep, anticipating the fun, joy, laughter, celebrating those small successes with your kids.
