The work can be divided in three stages, Repair, Strip and Refinish each with multiple step, such a disarming a piece, gluing, venner repair, make new pieces, all is needed to restore strengh to a battered piece. The strip is made by hand, this is the best way to preserve the tight joint. The refinish part depending on what material you work with, is a long process, from sanding, stain, built a finish coat after coat repeating the steps until we acieve the desired finish on each piece of furniture
