Ingrid est une passionnée de l'entrepreneuriat qui a passé quelques années dans la jeune chambre et qui a conseillé à la création de mini-entreprises au Bénin avant son arrivée au Canada.
Une fois au Canada, elle a poursuivi des études scientifiques à l'Université de Montréal en environnement à la maîtrise et en sciences biomédicales au doctorat, tout en ayant en tête de créer sa propre entreprise, sans savoir dans quel domaine se lancer…
En 2011, pendant son congé de maternité, Ingrid a gagné aux enchères sur un site internet, une machine à coudre toute neuve à un prix très modique, grâce à laquelle, elle a confectionné une première robe pour sa fille afin de se rendre à un mariage.
C'est ainsi que prend forme ce qui deviendra une entreprise par la création de Coo-Mon en 2015, qui fait le lien entre sa ville natale, Cotonou, et sa ville de résidence, Montréal.
À bien y réfléchir, la mode n’est pas venue par hasard dans sa vie: pendant son premier cycle universitaire au Bénin, elle a été apprentie deux étés dans un atelier de couture.
La marque Coo-Mon conçoit essentiellement des accessoires qui mélangent les cultures à travers les textiles.

Ingrid is passionate about entrepreneurship. She spent a few years acting in Junior chamber and advising in the creation of mini-enterprises in Benin before coming to Canada.
Once in Canada, she continued scientific studies at Université de Montréal with a Master in environment and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, while having in mind to create her own business without knowing what business to start ...
In 2011, during her maternity leave, Ingrid won a brand new sewing machine at a very low price on an auction web site, thanks to which she sew a first dress for her daughter to attend a wedding .
This was the beginning of what became a company in 2015 with the creation of Coo-Mon which make the connection between her hometown, Cotonou, and her city of residency, Montreal.
In fact, it's not a coincidence that fashion took its place in her life: during her university’s first years in Bénin, she spent two years in a sewing workshop as an apprentice.
The brand Coo-Mon mainly designs accessories that blend cultures through textiles.
