The Eastern Door Company Information
General information
We all want a strong, healthy and financially secure Mohawk community for ourselves and our future generations.
Kahnawà:ke Collective Impact is a long-term community engagement process to encourage community conversations to identify opportunities and challenges around:
· Language and Culture
· Education and Learning
· Employment, Jobs, and Business Development
· Health and Wellness (Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual)
It requires leadership from various partners:
· individual community members
· private business owners
· individuals who work in our schools, hospitals, non-profit
and community organizations
· funding partners
· government custodians and representatives
· and others to generate complex systems change.
Collaboration encourages community conversations, which in turn lead to eventual development of solutions.
