Monolith a été fondée en 2011 par deux entrepreneurs créatifs originaires de Montréal, Félix Major et Guillaume Germain, dans le but d’offrir une gamme complète de services en stratégie numérique, développement web, communication-marketing et design graphique à des entreprises de secteurs variés. La boîte agit en tant que guichet unique pour ses clients, rassemblant sous un même toit une offre variée de services professionnels. Nous avons un intérêt marqué et une spécialité dans les secteurs de l’alimentation, de la nutrition, du sport, de la santé, de la mode et du commerce de détail. Nous choisissons nos clients en fonction de nos valeurs.

DANS L'OEIL DU DRAGON

Nous avons connu un passage à succès à l'émission de télévision "Dans l'oeil du Dragon” (version québécoise de Dragon’s Den) à ICI Radio-Canada Télé en 2014. À l’époque, les dragons Alexandre Taillefer et Francois Lambert avaient choisi d’investir dans Monolith pour accélérer notre croissance.

Nous avons par la suite fait quelques apparitions télévisées sur les stations RDI et Explora dans l’émission Alexandre et les conquérants, une série documentaire Québécoise qui porte un regard unique sur le milieu des start-ups technologiques de Montréal. Animée par l’entrepreneur Alexandre Taillefer, la série cherche à inspirer une nouvelle génération d’entrepreneurs. La série permet aux téléspectateurs de mieux comprendre les rouages de cet écosystème fascinant qui combine l’innovation technologique au monde des affaires.

POURQUOI MONOLITH?

Notre nom tire ses origines du mystérieux Monolith qui apparaît dans le film culte de science fiction “2001: A Space Odyssey" réalisé par Stanley Kubrick en 1968. À l’image du Monolith qui a permis à l’espèce humaine d’évoluer et d’explorer l’univers en introduisant un niveau de conscience supérieur, notre objectif, quoique plus modeste, est dans la même lignée : nous cherchons à promouvoir des marques innovantes et écoresponsables à travers une communication créative afin d’inciter les consommateurs d'aujourd'hui à choisir de façon éclairée des produits durables ainsi que des services soucieux de l’environnement. Cette démarche a pour but de démontrer qu’il est possible d’utiliser le pouvoir du marketing et de la publicité pour le bien commun et de nous faire évoluer collectivement vers un futur plus vert pour léguer une planète en santé aux générations futures.

ABOUT US

Monolith was founded in 2011 by Félix Major and Guillaume Germain, two creative entrepreneurs both from Montreal, in order to offer a complete range of services in marketing, communications, digital strategy, web development and graphic design for various business sectors. The agency acts as a one-stop shop for its customers, bringing together under one roof a diversified range of professional services. We have a strong interest and a specialty for businesses operating in the fashion, healthy food, lifestyle, sports, technology, e-Commerce and retail industries.

AS SEEN ON TV

In 2014, Monolith was featured on the national canadian TV show "Dragon's Den" (Dans l’oeil du Dragon in French) on Radio-Canada that resulted in a positive outcome for the company. At the time, the notorious investors Alexandre Taillefer and Francois Lambert chose to invest in Monolith to accelerate our growth.

We subsequently made a few TV appearances on RDI and Explora on the TV show Alexandre et les conquérants, a Quebec documentary series that gives a unique perspective on the world of Tech Startups in Montreal. Hosted by the serial entrepreneur Alexandre Taillefer, the series wants to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs. The show allows the audience to better understand the ins and outs of this fascinating ecosystem that combines innovating technology and the world of business.

WHY MONOLITH?

Our name originates from the mysterious Monolith that appears in the cult science fiction " 2001: A Space Odyssey " by Stanley Kubrick in 1968 . Like the Monolith that has allowed the human species to evolve and explore the universe by introducing a higher level of consciousness, our goal, although more modest, is similar: we want to promote innovative and environmentally responsible brands through creative communication to encourage today's consumers to make well-informed decisions about sustainable products and services that are environmentally conscious . This approach aims to demonstrate that it is possible to use the power of marketing and advertising for the common good and to make us move collectively towards a greener future to bequeath a healthy planet to future generations.

Being based in Montreal, the bilingual metropolis of the french speaking province of Quebec, gives us the unique ability to create and advertise content across Canada in both official languages efficiently. Monolith's in-house staff is composed of highly skilled bilingual individuals from Canada, United States and France.

As a multidisciplinary agency, we are highly skilled in UI/UX, SEO, SEM, Custom Full Stack Web development, MailChimp Email Marketing, Social Media content creation and management, Photoshop work and graphic designs.

Our web dept. is experienced with warehouse integrations, payment solutions, Canada Post shipping and tax integrations. Monolith has extensive PR and Blogger outreach knowledge in Canada. We always require design and strategy approval by our clients before going into production with the projects.
