Mentorum is an online platform that connects people with health care professionals based on their exact needs and location. Its database finds the right professionals for the job, displays their availability, then provides a convenient, intuitive system for online booking, instant messaging, and customer ratings and reviews. Users can even narrow their search to professionals who have a certain specialization or who can make house calls.

Mentorum simplifies the process of finding the right health care professional by allowing its users to search according to their goal (i.e., reduce back pain). Whether to manage pain, lose weight, or reduce stress, Mentorum empowers its users to make informed decisions about their health.

Mentorum was founded in Montreal by serial entrepreneur Jason Frohlich and NHL veteran Georges Laraque. Recognizing that early treatment can often prevent more significant health problems in the future, they aimed to create a service that would deliver quicker access to health care. In doing so, they hope to prevent injuries and reduce long line-ups at hospitals and clinics.

The Mentorum website launched in late 2016, featuring hundreds of health care professionals within the Montreal area. For founders Frohlich and Laraque, this is just the beginning. They plan to leverage their platform to become the central hub for all manner of health and wellness needs. The Mentorum team is set to expand to other cities across Quebec, Canada, and the United States within the next two years.
