Our Mission: To grow the Jersey breed in Canada by maintaining the integrity of the herdbook and providing tools to increase profitability.
Jersey Canada is the non-profit national association for owners and breeders of registered and recorded Jersey cattle. In addition to managing the absolute integrity of the herdbook, Jersey Canada administers and protects the animals registered name and the breeder's prefix. Along with production data and classification results, breeding and progeny records, and genetic markers are available on our pedigree database (on-line).
We also educate new Jersey owners and provide farm visits. Genetic testing is something we facilitate for our members. From the All Canadian contest to awards and scholarships, we host a number of programs for the Jersey enthusiast! We offer a slew of marketing options and produce the Canadian Jersey Breeder publication.
