General information

MagO magnesium oxide cement board changes the ways buildings are built. As a sustainable product MagO has excellent Green credentials, MgO absorbs CO2 through its life and it requires a fraction of the energy to make compared to gypsum or cement fiber products.
MagO board is non toxic, no VOCs, no silica, carcinogens, asbestos in fact it is made from the same stuff found in magnesium oxide health supplements.
MagO board is fire proof, 12 mm board gives a 1 hour rating
water proof, it loses no strength when wet
insect mold and mildew proof, the mineral board offers no food for them to grow, infact the salt content may kill mould spores.
It is strong and can be used in shear walls and floor systems.
It paints well with the correct primer, and accepts many adhesives and stucos.
It can be installed with little or no drywall dust, no corner or J bead required.
It works with standard tools, can be applied with pneumatic pins.
In thin gauges it can be bent, 3 mm can be bent in a circle.
