General information
Marc Smith is a single, 45-year-old, gay urbanite, living in high-rise heaven in Vancouver’s chic Yaletown neighbourhood. After a ten-year career as one of Vancouver’s pre-eminent event planners, he decided it was time for a change and posted on his Facebook page “I am ready for a change. What shall I do with my life?” His friends and followers responded with suggestions and invitations. So many were tempting, he decided to ‘test drive’ a few for a month and the original concept of 30 Day Adventures was born. For 30 days Marc explored/discovered/tried something new each and every day and shared his experiences on his new blog.
The response and feedback was overwhelming, and Marc knew he had struck a chord with his readers and those who followed him on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/Youtube.
Since then, 30 Day Adventures has grown beyond the boundaries of Vancouver to include such destinations as Hawaii, Portland, Ottawa, San Francisco, Napa Valley, the Okanagan wine region of British Columbia and London, England.
Like you, when Marc visits a destination he is interested in Where to Stay, Where to Eat & Drink & What to Do and that is what 30 Day Adventures is all about.
