Agnes Etherington Art Centre is a research‐intensive art museum located on the historic campus of Queen’s University that serves as a learning space and as the public gallery for Kingston region. Its superb collections—numbering 16,000 works―include paintings of the Dutch Golden Age, Canadian historical art, contemporary art and African art. Through dynamic year-round programs of exhibitions and outreach activities, the Agnes illuminates the great artistic traditions of the past and the innovations of the present.
