General information

Established in 1926 by A. D. Bennett, Bennett's Home Furnishings is a 4th generation family run home furnishing & décor store. Bennett's roots are in Campbellford, Ontario, where they still operate out of 13 Front St. South. The business since expanded with a store in Peterborough, which has outgrown itself and moved into a new building at 105 Park St. South.

Bennett's is built on the words of owner Eric Bennett's grandfather A. D. Bennett who said:
"We are in the customer business. It's that simple. And the only thing that attracts and keeps good customers is trust - trust in the quality of our products, the reliability of our service and the fairness of our pricing."

Bennett’s has become renowned as the furniture store with the largest selection of furniture from Toronto to Ottawa. Everything from mattresses, solid wood dining & bedroom sets, full La-Z-Boy galleries, sectionals, condo sized sofas and much more.

Owners Eric and Marlaine Bennett are currently passing the business on to their daughter Jasmine and husband Tyler Steeves – the 4th generation.
