What’s in a name? When it comes to Trand Kitchens the short answer is Paul Bertrand and Bernie Chartrand. The common syllable was a happy coincidence but this partnership was no happenstance. Before joining forces, Paul and Bernie, both successful business owners from the Greater Sudbury Region, had many occasions over the years to collaborate on a wide range of projects. Paul had an established design-consulting firm which provided a wide range of services to clients who wanted to achieve customized looks for commercial and residential properties. Bernie had an established manufacturing plant which specialized in custom-made kitchens and millwork. By merging, they created a dynamic operation that offers clients a full range of services to get their renovating and building projects completed efficiently and with exceptional quality. And after 10 years working together with their great staff under the name Trand Kitchens Inc., Paul and Bernie can proudly attest: Trends come and go but a Trand Kitchen can last forever.
