Who are we?

We are two friends (Blair and Mike) with one mission:

Bring more ice time to families around North America with rink-kits that are affordable, practical and functional!

Why?

We believe in the pond hockey tradition! We lived and loved the pond hockey magic growing up and now live and love it again with our own children!

We want to enhance the enjoyment of winter and get children back outside in a safe, joyful environment, away from screens of all kinds, back to the basics where all the hockey magic starts!

When?

We recently took ownership of Ice N'Go in August of 2017. Ice N'Go has been in the business since 1977 and has sold so far over 70k kits! When we heard of the previous owner wanting to retire from this business, we decided it was the perfect business for us to put our money and hearts into.

It may not be as trendy as a start-up, but for us we were eager to grow our own business and to bring the pond hockey tradition with all it's benefits and the love for the ice to as many families as possible!

Why us?:

Our experiences together combines :

Having lived the road of becoming a professional goalie (Midget AAA, Junior, University, professional in the Southern Professional Hockey League)

Degree mechanical engineering from the Royal Military College in Kingston, with numerous years of experience in aerospace industry

Degree in mechanical engineering with numerous years of Customer Service experience in the aerospace industry

as well as owning and operating a goalie school (MTN Hockey) in Montreal (Quebec) together

Together we have the perfect experience to understand the needs and challenges of today’s hockey parents and together we we strive to deliver honest and successful solutions for products and services supporting the world of hockey!
