General information

A cooperative preschool is a non-profit organization of parents who organize and cooperate together to set up and maintain a preschool for their children. The parents take charge of the school administration while teachers are responsible for the educational program.

Benefits for being a participating parent are a reduced cost in the preschool program, involvement with your child in the classroom and networking with other parents. Participating parents work in the school. The time commitment is coordinated between the parent and school.

Expectations of all parents: All parents at the preschool are required to attend membership meetings and serve on a committee.

For security reasons, all participating parents are required to undergo a police reference check in order to work with the children.
