Here's a little bit of background about us.

Starting with me, William Kiely, your Good Neighbour State Farm Agent located on Hamilton Mountain.

I grew up in Kirkland Lake in Northern Ontario. I attended the University of Waterloo and graduated with an Honours History honours history degree. I concentrated my studies on modern history and the ancient Middle East. I have lived in Hamilton since 1977 and I am proud to call this fine city my home.

After graduation, I worked for over 5 years with a major Canadian bank in consumer loans. In July 1985, I opened my own State Farm Agency on Hamilton Mountain and have been proudly serving my clients ever since.

I am happily married for many years to Linda Kiely, whom also manages my agency administration. We have a son, Nolan Kiely, who is our Social Media and Marketing Specialist.

I have had State Farm in my blood for more years than I care to share (wouldn’t want to be giving my age away)

I started in my early 20’s as a client of a Hamilton East agent, who after years of nagging me to come work for him, convinced me to do so. My tenure with him lasted for 3 years before I started to have children and decided that the best thing for me and my family was to be a stay at home mom until my kids were old enough to attend school. I dipped my toes into a few other ponds before returning to the State Farm family in 2008, and have once more become devoted to my professional position here. I am the proud mom of 2 terrific and confident kids who are my world and I take my role here in Bill’s office just as seriously as the ‘mom’ role. I am committed not only to what the company stands for, but to giving our clients the peace of mind in knowing that any request handled by me, will be done so with efficiency and in a time sensitive manner that leaves them feeling like they’re more than just a number.
