My main areas of practice are business law, real estate law, intellectual property law and litigation. I bring to clients experience from years of practicing business law, commercial and residential real estate law and intellectual property law in prominent national law firms in downtown Toronto and around the GTA.

I'm experienced in all areas of business and corporate law, including advising on matters such as partnerships, the incorporation, purchase, or sale of a business, the financing of startup businesses, employer-employee relations, shareholder disputes, fiduciary duties, technology licenses, service level agreements and product labeling issues.

I also help businesses protect their valuable ideas, inventions, and brands with patents, trademarks, and the courts. With a computer engineering technical background, industry experience in telecommunications and manufacturing, and fluency in English and Chinese, I can communicate effectively with you, your managers, and your engineers alike. I have particular experience in electrical and computer-related patent drafting and prosecution, trademark prosecution and opposition, technology licensing and negotiation, venture and startup financing, as well as in patent and trademark litigation and domain name disputes.
