Late one night back in 2003, two childhood friends got together for coffee at the Tim Horton’s on Highway 7 and Weston Road. They have been in the lighting industry for over fifteen years and they were both at a standstill in their lives… They wanted to do something different.
After many cups of coffee they realized they both had a new dream. That dream was to open a lighting store in Vaughan. They wanted to take the skills that they had acquired over the fifteen years and do something great with it.
Roughly a year later, after a lot of planning and hard work, the two childhood friends fulfilled their dream. On October 2, 2004 they opened the doors to their brand new 18,000 square foot showroom – Prima Lighting.
