Mississauga Community Legal Services

General information

Mississauga Community Legal Services is a non-profit legal aid clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario.The clinic provides free legal advice and representation in the following areas of poverty law:

* Ontario Works (welfare)
* Ontario Disability Support Program
* Canada Pension Plan Disability
* Tenants rights
* Employment insurance
* Workplace safety and insurance
* Immigration (non refugee)
* Employment Law

The clinic actively participates in law reform in order to improve and change the laws whenever possible.

We also deliver free public legal education seminars in the areas of law above.

MCLS offers a free family law advice every Friday at our office between 9:30am to 4:30 pm, closed between 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch. Clients are assisted on a first come, first serve basis.

MCLS offers a satellite clinic at Malton Neighbourhood Services at 3540 Morning Star Drive. We are there every Thursday from 3pm to 6pm. Clients are assisted on a first come, first serve basis.

MCLS offers a satellite clinic at Eden Community Food Bank on the Second Tuesday of each month. The location is at Unit 2, 3185 Unity Drive from 12pm to 2:30pm. If you live in West Mississauga, stop by and ask us your legal question.

MCLS also operates a satellite office at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Services on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 5pm. If you live in East Mississauga, stop by and ask us your legal question.
