I have been providing before and after school childcare for over 10 years. It has been a very satisfying job and I bond with the children I care for.

Children learn and grow best in a natural and safe environment. Here at Feels Like Home, they are encouraged to craft, free-play, respect animals, make new friends and learn how to get along.

Children are more relaxed, happier and feel protected, safe and valued here. They are not one of many faces in a crowd remaining within school walls where they’ve been all day or in yet another similar class room like setting. It is private in home care by a real mom and family who care about their individual needs and concerns. I take the time to listen to them and it matters to me how they are feeling physically, emotionally and intellectually and they know it.

When you choose Feels Like Home you are choosing a higher quality of care for your child and I remain quite competitively priced with other big box day/childcare and can offer care to parents who qualify for subsidy.

I take what I do seriously and I have amassed a good deal of experience and wisdom as well as qualification. I appreciate an open rapport with all parents, guardians and their children. Children who have outgrown Feels Like Home sometimes take time out of their busy days to stop by to say hello and often wave to me when I encounter them around town.
