With our 26+ years in business we have built a solid reputation as a company with durability, stamina and longevity. We represent and support a number of clients and partner relationships including Banks, Government, Health & Education, Oil & Gas Companies, Electrical Contractors and General Contractors.
All of our employees receive a police clearance prior to getting out to site. Several of our people have high level clearance(s) which enable us to work without escort in some very high security areas including Police facilities, Airports (airside and red zones), government facilities, hospitals, education, institutional, military facilities and other.
Solid ethics are what the company was founded on and maintains including quality, integrity, value and a safe working environment.

Dynamics

Our cabling business has grown to encompass a wide range of disciplines including the inside plant, outside plant, audio visual, data centers and other low voltage systems. Our coverage includes the commercial, residential and Industrial markets.
We have a fluid workforce prepared to deploy to locations as required, we maintain living accommodations in various cities to support the movement of staff and provide a stable, secure footing in the areas which we serve. This enhances our ability to provide peak manpower for projects as required.
Our equipment list is quite extensive including 50 vehicles, bucket trucks, reel trailers, 15+ OTDR’s, 20 fusion splice machines and an ever growing list of test equipment.

Heart
USG is an employee owned company and Alberta based. We have owners at all levels of the business and it shows in our quality of work and the tenure of our employee’s. Collectively through each individual’s commitment to success we have the ability to ramp up, consolidate efforts and achieve substantial goals.
Being a private company with a small senior management group, this enables the board to make decisions quickly if required.

Specialists
Low voltage cabling is our business. We have several BICSI certified RCDD’s on staff including within the ownership group.
We have several Journeyman Communications Technicians and a considerable list of apprentices at varying stages of the Journeyman program, supporting the overall efforts of the Alberta Apprenticeship Board.
We can provide certified cabling solutions will all major vendors and are exclusive with some vendor’s solutions. We have extensive manufacturer training with all of the programs that we support and are invested into the best test gear solutions available in the marketplace.
